Are you an experienced data analyst with a passion for using analysis and intelligence to provide insight and inform and support decision making? Southampton City Council have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join the Data, Intelligence and Insight Team and make a real contribution to the performance reporting and transformation of the Children’s Social Care department. The role will involve supporting Children’s Social Care teams within the service by gathering requirements, building operational and performance reports and dashboards, and undertaking intelligence and insight analysis.

We are looking for someone with experience of working in a technical, performance management role with excellent numerical, research analytical skills. You will be expected to be able to create, amend and validate complex data using SQL, Power BI, and Advanced Excel functionality.
