We’re looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join us at our GXO site at East Midlands gateway to support with our Nestle contract. You’ll be assisting the on-site finance team with daily tasks such as the creation of financial reports, raising of purchase orders and general administrative tasks.
Joining us on a full-time, permanent basis, you’ll be working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, between 08:00am and 16:30pm.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £26,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Support with month end processes in line with company standards
Deliver weekly reports in a timely, accurate manner whilst demonstrating the ability to explain any variances through analysis
Provide support to the contract team and Finance Manager with any ad-hoc activities
Maintain high standards whilst working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Previous experience working in Finance. Ideally studying AAT or equivalent would be preferred
Ability to analyse, investigate and problem solve numerical information
Pro-active, organised, and able to prioritise a busy workload, confident with excellent communication skills
