Sapphire Utility Solutions is a young, dynamic and rapidly growing company operating in the utilities sector.
Primarily based in the north west, we also have depots in the midlands and south, we work on clean and waste water, gas and telecommunications contracts for blue chip companies. We have also heavily invested in new state of the art equipment, including some of our own ground breaking innovations which improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Sapphire Utility Solutions are a leading provider of award-winning services to the clean water, wastewater, gas, digital networks, and highways sector. Established in 2013, we have quickly gone from strength to strength and continue to grow.

Ø Processing and raising of sales invoices & credit notes

Ø Monitor & chase in client contract documentation

Ø Resolve any invoicing queries

Ø Posting cash daily and allocating to the sales ledger

Ø Dealing with queries in a timely manner

Ø Running debtors’ reports

Ø Monitoring the AR queries inbox and resolving queries via e-mail and phone

Ø Assisting with general ledger nominal reconciliations to ensure accuracy of the balance sheet

Allocating daily credit card receipts to ensure accuracy of invoicing and assisting with monthly analysis

Desirable Skills and Competencies

Ø Enthusiastic, with a good work ethic – Team Player

Ø Experience in accounts receivable

Ø Confident with strong communication skills, experience dealing with customers’ ideal

Ø Ability to work to strict deadlines

Ø MS Office knowledge and experience

Ø Strong Excel user with the ability to manipulate data in spreadsheets and use standard formulas

Ø Location: Preston (current Bamberbridge but relocation to New Office in the next few weeks to the Larches Preston)

Ø Hours of Work: 37.5 hours a week
