Your Role

This role involves working with selected brokers to optimise profitable growth from your selected broker accounts. You will apply a range of underwriting, relationship building and business development techniques to optimise sustainable profitable business growth. This applies to new and/or existing cases within our agreed process and defined strategy. You will spend the majority of your time working with your selected brokers identifying, discussing, negotiating and converting new and existing business opportunities and agreeing effective underwriting strategies.

  • Underwriting Financial Risks cases including D & O, PI and Crime
  • Understanding our marketplace to enable you to negotiate flexibly and appropriately resulting in successful trading
  • Identifying broker needs and creating effective solutions
  • Working with Senior Underwriters to successfully grow the book of business

About You

  • Knowledge of Underwriting either D&O or PI or Crime – a combination of all 3 would be beneficial
  • Experience of working with insurance brokers and building relationships
  • Experience working across both Existing and New business would be beneficial
