We are looking for an HE Quality Officer to join our Quality, Policy and Regulation team to support quality assurance and compliance activities that ensure we meet the requirements of our regulators, and to support the processing and resolution of student complaints and appeals.

There are two main aspects of this role. Firstly, to support in quality assurance activities including managing our academic committees, tracking work through these committees, preparing agendas and writing minutes. Secondly, to manage the student complaints/appeals and early resolution processes, ensuring student complaints and appeals are managed in accordance with policy and processed through to resolution.

To be successful in this role you’ll need to:

· Be highly organised and ability to prioritise tasks

· Have a keen eye for detail

· Have excellent communication skills

· Be good at interpreting requirements and articulating these clearly to colleagues and students

· Identify areas of improvement and suggest solutions in line with written requirements

Previous experience of complaints handling or problem resolution, coordinating committees, undertaking secretarial duties and having an understanding of the educational sector would be desirable but is not essential.

*This role can be based in either our Canterbury or London Office with homeworking available when not required in the office for training, adhoc meetings, events and onsite committees.

During the training period, you will be required to attend the office 3 days per week.
