The Role & Team
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our ever-expanding child protection legal services team.
We are looking for Solicitors to work within this dynamic, friendly and supportive team and a fast-paced environment.
Children’s Services are undergoing a period of transformational change, so it is an ideal time to become part of new innovation and improvement.

Your Responsibilities
Ideally to be an experienced childcare lawyer with at least 5 years’ PQE you will have proven technical expertise in advising across the broad remit of child protection law.
However, the Team would welcome Applications from those who may have less experience or even no direct Childcare legal experience but a strong desire to develop skills in the area would be equally received and welcomed. Such positions are ones that are suited to those who seek to develop expertise in Children’s Law is possible due to our team structure and a wish to develop and grow our own talent.
You will have strong communication, negotiation and potential advocacy skills.
In a senior role you should be able, and willing, to mentor younger and less experienced members of the team.
Local government experience is desirable, but not essential.

This is a blended role which offers flexibility of home working.
